Fiberoptic
This specifically designed fiber optic data interface kit allows the computer and the GigE® camera head to be separated by up to 550 m without the loss of data. The kit consists of two compact, high speed transceivers (interface modules) for completely transparent operation between the host computer and the camera.
Key Features
High Data Throughput
The GigE fiberoptic data interface kit is able to throughput data at a maximum of 1000 mBits/sec. This occurs at an output power of 12 V, 0.5 A maximum over a distance of up to 550 m. For distances up to 275 m, a 62.5 μm/125 μm multimode fiber is appropriate. For distances greater than 300 m a 50 μm /125 μm multimode fiber should be used.
Simple Connection
When connecting the GigE, the fiber connector should be an LC to LC duplex with the camera connecting to the GigE. Connector options included 1-RJ45 1000BaseT/SX Ethernet port and a 1-Fiber Optic LC Female port.
Stable Operation
The GigE is compatible with windows 10/8/7/XP and Linux operating system, with a working temperature between 0 – 50℃. The GigE is compact, with dimensions (W x H x L) of 123 mm x 8 6 mm x 20 mm (4.84” x 3.39” x 0.79”) and weight of 0.72 kg (1.59 lb) each.
